Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico was born into a music-loving family. She spent most of her youth listening to classical music, boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic tunes and classic classical music. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as the dramatic and opera performances. When she was 16 years old, she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense vocal instruction. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young musician and student. After relocating in America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present home in southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo of classical Latin American music at private events. Passion and enthusiasm for music, art, and performing has her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a teacher and performer. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher in the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play classic Latin American song.
